Changes to our Cylinder terms

Effective as of 1st June 2026, our cylinder rental terms will be changing...

Due to changes beyond our control, we regret to inform you that we will be implementing new terms for our IDS/Climalife cylinders. Any SMALL IDS refrigerant, recovery, or trace-gas cylinders sold on or after the 1st of June 2026 will be sold with a 3-month free rental period, effective from the date of sale.

After the 3-month free rental period ends, a further 3-month chargeable period will begin.

After the 3-month chargeable period ends, assuming the cylinder has not been returned to Freedom Air Conditioning in this time, the cylinder will be deemed lost, and a lost-cylinder fee will be charged to your account.

Any cylinders purchased BEFORE the 1st of June 2026 will be processed and monitored using the pre-June 2026 terms.

LARGE IDS recovery cylinders terms will be sold with a 1-month free rental period, followed by a 5 month chargeable period. After the 5-month chargeable period ends, assuming the cylinder has not been returned to Freedom Air Conditioning in this time, the cylinder will be deemed lost, and a lost-cylinder fee will be charged to your account.

Our OFN cylinder terms will not be changing.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these amendments. Unfortunately, the terms we receive from our supplier are changing substantially, which has brought forward the need to make these changes to our terms for you.

We apologise for the lack of notice for these term changes, but after careful consideration, we believe they will cause minimal impact for the vast majority of our customers. That said, we are investigating alternative methods of maintaining or improving our services to you, and will keep you updated via our website of any further changes.
